In this role, reporting to the Board of Directors, the Group HR Manager's primary focus will be to provide a comprehensive and strategic HR service, which ensures that staff are equipped with best practice to foster a high-performance and inclusive culture where everyone can give their best. As well as managing day to day HR operations, the post holder will also act as a strategic partner in the senior management team.


The Role:

  • Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement the organisation's HR strategy.
  • Design and work across HR projects.
  • Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters.
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation across all jurisdictions.
  • Manage investigations and employee relations issues.
  • Coordinate all staff appraisals.
  • Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies.
  • Monitor all employee records to include holiday, maternity/paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team.
  • Coordinate work placement, intern and apprenticeship processes.
  • Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up to date.
  • Develop and regularly update a staff handbook.
  • Develop starter and leaver procedures.
  • Develop and deliver Training and Development programmes.
  • Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation's competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits packages.
  • Point of contact for recruitment related matters both internal and external.
  • Advisor on all legislative polices to include health and safety.
  • Proactive member within the senior management team.
  • Presence with the Board Directors and where applicable all affiliated organisations examples to include PRA, Irish League, Auditors etc. pertaining to HR related matters.

The Person
This is a generalist HR role which will provide a unique opportunity to gain experience in a HR Department whose objectives span the entire global operation. The ideal candidate must be able to apply their skills and experience to an extremely busy, fast paced environment.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • CIPD Qualification (Level 5)

  • BA Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' HR generalist experience.
  • A strong knowledge of current NI employment legislation.
  • Professional approach.
  • Access to a reliable means of transport to work at various locations
