Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Strabane (On-site, no hybrid)
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: 28-30k DOE


VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with our highly-valued manufacturing client as they search for an exceptional HR generalist to join their growing HR function.


You will be responsible for:

  • Manage the HR systems ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Provide support and coaching to Managers/ Team Leaders in managing performance.
  • Advise Managers/ Team Leaders on employee relations issues including dealing with disciplinary and grievance issues as they arise.
  • Support managers on people-related matters, providing them with timely guidance & tools.
  • Develop relationships with employees, ensuring a deep understanding of the employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment, with other members of the HR Team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR Administration team.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the HR Team.
  • Operate within the boundaries of employment law to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Work with the business to support employee development.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data analysis using systems and looking at proactive ways to improve the HR service as well as conducting other HR administrative duties.
  • Manage employee life cycle relations from recruitment to exit strategies.
  • Promotion of employer brand, vision and values.
  • Assist with policy creation and the implementation/communication.
  • Assist with payroll processing.


About You

  • 2+ years generalist HR experience
  • CIPD or HR degree
