Role: HR Generalist - Permanent - Greater Belfast

Job Overview
VANRATH are delighted to partner with a returning client in the manufacturing sector, to appoint an experienced HR professional who will support the delivery of a high-quality HR service across all departments, ensuring operational duties are completed to agreed standards and deadlines.

  • Salary: Up to £38,000
  • Full time, Permanent

What you'll do:

  • Compile, summarise, and report on confidential HR data and materials to support departmental objectives.
  • Act as note taker in senior management and HR meetings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Administer HR processes including payroll, benefits, recruitment, and employment documentation.
  • Co-ordinate recruitment procedures, chair interview panels, and manage all associated correspondence and testing.
  • Maintain and analyse HR systems and databases to produce accurate management reports.
  • Support employee relations, absence management, and provide HR coaching to departments as required.
  • Assist in the development of job descriptions and the implementation of health, well-being, and CSR strategies.
  • Represent the company in outreach activities, delivering career advice and awareness sessions in educational settings.

What you'll need:

  • Relevant third-level qualification and/or CIPD accreditation.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proven experience handling employee relations matters and providing coaching to management and staff.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service.
  • In-depth knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Highly adaptable team player with sound planning, analytical, and organisational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with PAMS and NorthTime Pro desirable.
