Are you a seasoned technical leader with deep expertise in UPVC manufacturing and granulation processes? This is a unique opportunity to take charge of the technical function at a market-leading manufacturer in County Antrim, where your specialist knowledge will directly drive product innovation, quality, and efficiency.


The Role:
As Head of Technical, you'll lead all aspects of product development and process improvement, with a strong focus on UPVC material performance and granulation quality.

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of UPVC-based product lines.
  • Lead process optimisation with particular attention to UPVC granulation and reprocessing.
  • Conduct feasibility and ROI assessments on new technologies, equipment, and projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry standards, certifications, and building regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and enhancing efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across production, R&D, and quality teams.
  • Manage and maintain accurate technical documentation and design specifications.
  • Keep pace with technical advancements in UPVC processing and material recycling.


What You'll Need:
✅ Proven background in UPVC manufacturing and granulation - this experience is essential.
✅ Strong knowledge of plastics processing, including thermal and structural performance.
✅ Track record in leading product design and development within a manufacturing setting.
✅ Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks 3D) and simulation software.
✅ Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance standards for building products.
✅ Confident in managing technical teams and delivering cross-functional projects.
