VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing SME in helping recruit for a Financial Controller. This is a very broad, hands on role that gives the right candidate autonomy to run the Finance department and add value to the business.

What you'll do
- Oversee small team of 4
- Coordinate internal and external audits and communicate with auditors.
- Enhance and maintain accounting systems and controls.
- Track performance against budgets and conduct variance analysis.
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and support to department heads and senior management.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.

- Qualified Accountant
- Strong team leader and manager with a willingness to collaborate with others to achieve success as a team
- Requires a blend of financial expertise, stakeholder management and influencing, strategic acumen
