Vanrath are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading construction company in helping recruit for a Finance Manager



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing day to day finance aspects of the finance function.
  • Processing of all financial transactions for the company to trial balance level including the Accounts Payable and Credit Control functions.
  • Managing the company cash flow, liaising with Group for cash requirements
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts including month end journals, analysis, KPI's and submission to group for consolidation
  • Manage fixed assets registers
  • Manage teh Accounts Payable function
  • Producing the annual budget for the business along with monthly and quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts.
  • Leading, motivating and engaging a team of finance people to ensure work undertaken is accurate, timely, and efficient along with sustained engagement and motivation.


REQUIREMENTS;

  • Extensive financial accounting experience to trial balance and management level
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Excel
  • Extensive understanding of finance systems and required controls
  • Excellent understanding of Processes / Accounting Principles
  • Accuracy and high level attention to detail
  • Experience of working within a team and managing a team
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
