What you'll do

As the Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the tax function within the practice. You will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic tax planning advice to clients. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stimulating and fast-paced environment where creativity and innovation are valued.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of various tax returns, including corporate, individual, and other tax-related filings.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Client Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs, provide strategic tax planning advice, and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Research and Analysis: Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, conduct research, and provide recommendations to management and clients.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential tax-related risks for clients and the firm.
Client Relationship Management: Foster positive and collaborative relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve tax-related processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
Communication: Effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.

About You:
Qualified tax professional with 5 years of experience in tax within an accountancy practice.
In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on corporate and individual taxation.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Professional certification such as CTA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
