VANRATH are recruiting a Finance Manager to join a leading public sector employer based in Antrim on a long term interim contract. This is an opportunity to join an organisation who provide an excellent service in the local community.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will take operational responsibility for management information and budgetary control, payroll accounting and computerised financial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team, to plan and implement a high quality service to meet the needs of the organisation.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified
• Strong supervisory experience
• Ability to lead a team and motivate others
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

What you'll do

• Provide timely and accurate management information to senior management
• Liaise with budget holders to assist with improved budgetary control
• Implement and police controlling systems
• Act as bank signatory
• Assist with year-end production of accounts as and when required
