Job Description

VANRATH are recruiting an Estates Contracts Officer on behalf of a large Public Sector organisation based in Lisburn to join their busy and growing team.

Salary
This is a Band 6 role offering a starting salary of £32,306 plus holiday allowance and excellent benefits.

The Ideal Person

  • Demonstrable working knowledge and experience in the preparation of Tender documents for the procurement, evaluation, award and performance management of Contracts
  • Be familiar with all aspects of Contracting, in particular the Public Contracts Regulations
  • Good working knowledge and experience in the operation of an eTendering System
  • University Degree or a recognised equivalent professional qualification in a Business, ICT, Building or Engineering related subject or relevant Professional Qualification such as membership of CIPS or CILT AND 2 years' relevant post qualification experience (*)in a role which required significant understanding and knowledge of contracts/performance management


Responsibilities
The post holder will provide a support and facilitative role in the Procurement and Management of Estates Contracts. The role will include provision of support in all aspects of the contract management lifecycle from procurement to termination and evaluation. The post holder will regularly provide advice on interpretation and application of contractual terms and conditions, sourcing specialist legal and procurement advice as required. They will also assist in the preparation and publishing of Tender documents for the procurement, adjudication, award and performance management of a large portfolio of Maintenance and Service Contracts as part of the Estates Management function.
