About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a growing team in Belfast. This role is vital to ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems across a large-scale facility. You'll be carrying out detailed inspections, reporting on findings, and helping to maintain a safe environment for both people and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document findings clearly and prepare detailed reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Promote and adhere to health & safety protocols at all times.
About You
- Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) for Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing.
- Strong background in conducting EICR inspections, ideally within large industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficient with electrical testing software (e.g. EasyCert or similar).
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
