We are looking for a motivated and skilled Electrical Engineering Team Leader to lead our dynamic engineering team in maintaining and optimising their production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high performance.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Implement preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reliability.
• Manage and coordinate electrical projects, from concept to completion, including upgrades, new installations, and process improvements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Ensure all electrical systems and processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical issues. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering within the FMCG sector.
• Work closely with other departments, including production, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operation and alignment with overall business goals.
• Assist with developing and managing the electrical engineering budget, including capital expenditures, maintenance costs, and staffing.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering in FMCG or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and control systems used in FMCG environments.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with PLC's, variable speed drives and fault finding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team and collaborate with other departments.
• Experience with SCADA would be desirable but not essential
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
