A fast-growing international technology firm with a base in Belfast is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale secure, high-availability infrastructure across cloud-native platforms.
As part of a small, agile engineering team, you'll work closely with developers, analysts, and platform stakeholders to deploy microservices, automate pipelines, and manage infrastructure-as-code for critical decision platforms operating in the energy and/or financial markets.
What You'll Do
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure) using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
Collaborate on monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices
Enhance system reliability, security, and automated deployment
Work on greenfield cloud architecture projects as well as platform upgrades
Ideal Skills
3+ years DevOps or SRE experience in production environments
Proficiency in container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, ECS)
Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Helm)
Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and secrets management
A pragmatic mindset and a desire to build future-ready systems
