Customer Operations Officer

Location: Belfast
Salary: £32,957
Working pattern: 37 hours (Office-Based)
Contract: Initial Interim Contract, 3 month with possible extension

The role

Join a multi-skilled team delivering an excellent experience to customers and applicants. You'll process key customer and legal documentation, maintain accurate records, and liaise with solicitors, valuers, lenders and agents to keep cases moving and SLAs on track. You'll be the first point of contact for queries, providing clear, consistent information and seeing actions through to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Process onboarding, staircasing (incl. deletions), valuations, cheques/documents, title deeds and solicitor bills within SLAs.
  • Check legal documents for accuracy; flag issues to Legal.
  • Keep DocuWare, contact notes and admin records fully up-to-date; input/extract data as needed.
  • Liaise with solicitors, valuers, advisers, estate agents, lenders and customers to resolve issues pre-completion.
  • Provide accurate advice; resolve concerns at first contact; meet performance goals; support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with information security, data protection and H&S; work to the organisation's values.

About you

  • 5 GCSEs incl. Maths & English (A-C) or 3+ years' relevant admin experience.
  • Admin background covering record-keeping, scanning, databases & spreadsheets; experience with legal/financial docs.
  • Strong MS Word & Excel; superb attention to detail and organisation; able to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication; customer-focused problem solver; confident handling confidential info.
