The Client
VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a global financial services firm with an office based in Belfast City centre This is an excellent foot in the door opportunity to join an international business who are at the beginning of an exciting period of growth, which will take place over the next 3 - 5 years.
Reporting to the US Head of Services, the Credit Controller Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the timely & professional collection of outstanding debt with the international client base. To be considered for this role, it is essential to have a solid understanding of collections, along with strong communication and organisational skills.

About you
If you are an experienced Credit professional:
- 2 - 3 years Credit Control experience leading a team
- IT literate, including MS Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work on own initiative
What you'll do
As a Credit Controll Team Lead you will:
Assist the Manager in with transactions and processes
Work with the Manager and other Leads to create a training plan to develop and upskill team members
Take responsibility for day to day running
Lead the team by delegating tasks, advising on debt escalations and bad debt
Carrying out regular individual team member meetings
Allocate work effectively
