Creative Digital Media Specialist

CLIENT

VANRATH are excited to be partnering with one of NI's key providers of further education in their recruitment for a Technical Specialist within Creative Digital Media. This initially is a 2 month role until the end of March 22.

Responsibilities

As a technical specialist you will deliver Innovation Projects on support of the organisations external engagement strategy. You will establish relationships with clients to assess their innovation, training and development needs and deliver innovation support services to those needs, whilst maximising the organisations income generation making full use of the support programmes on offer. This is an exciting role which will provide an opportunity to create and deliver an innovative fusion between business and education in which you will undertake the full lifecycle of project management, including pre-delivery through to post implementation review.

Sales and Pre-delivery

  • To meet targets as agreed in relation to delivery of projects involving:
    -Funded projects to include: InnovateUs, Innovation Vouchers, FUSION, Skills Focus, KTPs, Assured Skills and Connected;
  • To participate in the delivery of innovation support services and small-scale projects to meet the economic needs of employers, and to develop the organisation as a 'best in class' provider of innovation support. In this context the college has identified innovation touch points and grouped them into a Business Engagement 3T Model.

Delivery

  • Use technical skills, knowledge, awareness of best practice to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Record all activity with employers on the relevant systems.
  • Complete documentation in line with systems within designated timescales.

Post-delivery and after sales

  • Complete project evaluations including participant reviews, provide feedback to relevant stakeholders and input progress updates into systems.
  • Ensure that all work and output is of the highest quality including making recommendations for quality improvement and monitoring quality on an on-going basis. Manage client expectations through regular communications.

Sector relationships and account management

  • Represent the organisation in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Ideal Person

Essential Criteria:

Qualifications

  • A Degree level qualification in an associated subject area
  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above, or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 2 year's relevant employment experience in the last 5 years in implementing an innovation or change project in a business
  • At least 2 years' industrial/professional experience OR 2 years of delivering coaching, mentoring or training within the last 5 years.

The above must be in relation to Creative Digital Media.

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business/stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in project managing the delivery of programmes or contracts.

A Masters Degree level qualification related to Creative Digital Media is desirable.

Remuneration

This is an excellent opportunity paying a salary of £35,745.
