Conveyancing Secretary

Location: Belfast
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role

An established legal firm based in Belfast is seeking a professional and proactive Conveyancing Secretary to support their busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who is looking for a long-term position with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to solicitors within the conveyancing department
  • Managing correspondence, preparing legal documents, and handling client queries
  • Typing up contracts, leases, and other documents using digital dictation
  • Maintaining accurate files and case management systems
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and Land Registry


Candidate Criteria

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing secretary or legal secretary role is essential
  • Strong typing skills and experience with digital dictation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office and case management systems
  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused
