About the Role:
As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, leading, and managing projects that improve overall operational efficiency across the site. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed lean principles and continuous improvement strategies throughout the organisation, ensuring a culture of ongoing development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to implement best practices, reduce waste, and optimise performance.
  • Facilitate training and workshops on lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project success and identify further improvement areas.
  • Drive cultural change, fostering a proactive environment where all employees contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure that all process improvements are aligned with company goals, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
  • Support cost reduction efforts by optimising resource utilisation and improving production workflows.
  • Act as a champion for safety and quality, integrating these principles into all continuous improvement projects.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement role, ideally within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cultural change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using data-driven analysis to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
