The role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across our organisation with a keen eye for quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality, root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about driving operational excellence and making a significant impact on our company's success.
Duties:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise processes and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
- Have a focus on quality improvements
- Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement methodologies
- Monitor and track the progress of improvement projects
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or third level qualification in Quality, manufacturing or engineering field
- Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to utilise data analysis tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
