Client

VANRATH are excited to be working with a niche technology company based in Belfast city centre who are recruiting for a Company Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business who are currently at the forefront of their industry, due to their cutting-edge development and innovation.

Reporting to the CEO, the Company Accountant will take full responsibility for the company financials, including preparation of monthly management accounts, preparing and presenting annual budgets and working closely with current and new investors regarding R&D projects.

The Ideal Person

If you've 3+ years' working in a similar role and are keen to join a business who are making a significant impact in their sector:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE (Qualified by experience)
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry
  • Comfortable working with management at all levels

Responsibilities

As a Company Accountant you will:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of cashflows
  • Development of projections and budgets
  • Monitoring budgets throughout project lifecycle
  • Identify future funding and grant applications
