Branch Manager (40-45k + commission) (Cork)

Job Description

Vanrath are representing a leading retail company and long time client. This client is seeking a Branch/Sales Manager for the Dublin area. The team is expanding due to continued growth and investment.

Salary:

€40,000-€45,000 + Commission (uncapped)

Responsibilities:

Sales Performance

  • Advising the best customer solution, selling both merchandise and insurance.
  • Excellent customer service provided as well as selling and up-selling products to both new and existing customers
  • Understand demand and availability of stock
  • Work in conjunction with the Sales Director and maintenance teams
  • Understand and work towards revenue targets
  • Manage price increases with existing customers, if applicable

Store Standards

  • Lead the way on setting the store and operational standards and ensuring that they are maintained
  • Managing office administration and processes
  • Managing the revenue collection process
  • Ensuring that all packaging stock is always in stock, in good condition, displayed correctly and priced
  • Takes responsibility for the safety and security of the store and customers
  • Managing branch customer feedback platforms
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures
  • Identifying any H&S or security hazards and takes action to resolve locally

Managing the team

  • Leading and motivating the store team through coaching and providing constructive feedback in order to enhance performance
  • Proactively having conversations regarding team member conduct and/ or performance where necessary
  • Holding daily team chats to understand the day's activity and achievement against targets
  • Determining store resourcing requirements and planning accordingly in partnership with the Sales Director

The Ideal Candidate

  • A retail background in a customer facing environment and experience in face to face and telephone consultative sales is essential
  • A track record as a Store Manager who delivers results through excellent people management
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of the levers that impact revenue
  • Office administration experience
