Bid and Tender Coordinator

Our client is committed to winning new business and expanding their market presence. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bid and Tender Coordinator to join the dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting their Commercial Team to secure new business opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Identify and monitor bid and tender opportunities through current and potential new portals.
  • Maintain portal login details and update necessary documents (e.g., insurance, health and safety).
  • Assist in preparing prequalification and tender submissions, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Write non-technical sections of prequalification and tender documents.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to compile tenders.
  • Ensure all tender documents are accurate before final review.
  • Track and follow up on tender progress and record updates in Salesforce.
  • Maintain an up-to-date tender bank for future submissions.
  • Seek feedback on unsuccessful tenders and apply learnings to improve future submissions.
  • Record contract awards according to internal processes.
  • Provide monthly reports to customers as required.
  • Assist the Business Development Team with researching, identifying, and contacting prospective customers in Ireland, the UK, and beyond.
  • Support the Marketing Team in developing and implementing the company marketing plan, including conducting market research
  • Assist in preparing reports, agendas, and meeting minutes.

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role or a degree in Business or equivalent, or 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent report writing and literacy skills.
  • Strong planning and project management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and flexible approach with the ability to manage excellent relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and multitask.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Knowledge of the construction/engineering industry.
  • Access to a car and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable:

  • Experience in marketing, including digital marketing.
  • Experience in a business development role.
