Audit Manager

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a local firm seeking to take on board an Audit Manager into their growing team in Belfast.

This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant in practice who is seeking to make a move into management with relevant experience in an audit role. This firm offers a local client base and the opportunity to work on all-Ireland clients on a national level.

• £40,000-£45,000

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading audit engagements
• Supervising more junior team members and liaising with senior members of client finance team on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure the assignment is completed as per the agreed terms
• Review financial statements and prepare audit reporting for presentation to those charged with governance
• Attendance at planning and clearance meetings
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, identifying key issues

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• 3-5 years experience in relevant audit role
• Proven experience in client handling
• Proven experience in producing high quality Audit Reports
