A commercial business based in Mallusk require an Assistant Accountant to join their team, are you an experienced Assistant Accountant who is comfortable with the month end processes?

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a commercial business based in Mallusk who are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team, initially on a 9 month contract basis.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant;

• Third level education or IATI qualified
• 18 months accounting experience within a similar role
• Management accounts prep experience
• Immediately available

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant you will:

• Assist with producing monthly management accounts and executive summary
• Prepare and organise the submissions for manufacturer composite returns
• Customs declarations
• Statutory returns
• Any other duties to assist supporting the accounts department
