Admin Scheduler - Public Sector

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large and well-known Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of an Admin Scheduler to join their team based in Belfast City Centre.

This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for executives and team members.
  • Manage calendars and prioritize appointments to maximize efficiency.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain and update contact lists and databases.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in organizing and planning company events or gatherings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies and order new items as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support as required by the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, with scheduling experience preferred.
  • Proficient in using office software and scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.



Remuneration
£21,000 - £22,000 per annum, plus discount benefits.
