About you

If you are an experienced Accounts Technician and are available to join a well know agricultural firm, the following would be suitable qualities:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ year's work experience as an Accounts Technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with agricultural finance and cost accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

What you'll do

As an Accounts Technician you will:

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions for the firm.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
  • Assist in tax planning and compliance activities specific to the agricultural industry.
  • Support the inventory management process and reconcile inventory records.
