VANRATH are pleased to be working with a local public sector employer in the Antrim area who are currently recruiting an Accounts Supervisor to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who provide an important service to the local community.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience of working within a busy finance environment with staff management:

  • IATI qualified
  • Experience in the use of accounting software packages
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage a team of accounting staff
  • Ensure the efficient functioning of the debtors and creditors systems
  • Review and implement any modifications to the financial systems
  • Provide a high level of internal and external support
  • Oversee compliance and procurement procedures
