Accounts Payable Specialist (Belfast, Hybrid)

VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading organisation in the tech industry who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on an initial interim contract for 3 months, with the opportunity to extend to a permanent position. This role can offer an experienced finance professional the next step in their career within the private sector.
32k-35k SALARY
The Ideal Person
- Proven experience of accounts payable and general accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in driving problems to a resolution
- Extensive experience raising POs
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, management, and auditors
- Experience with systems such as Oracle or Netsuite
Responsibilities
As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing vendor invoices, record invoices according to company policy.
- Maintaining accuracy in processing of AP transactions, including accounting coding, timely payments and reconciliations.
- Managing POs
- Preparing weekly payments to vendors and employees
- Review, verify and process employee expense reports
