Welder / Fabricator
Location: Dungannon
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm
Salary: Competitive, based on experience


Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking to join a growing manufacturing team with excellent working hours and opportunities to progress? Our client, a well-established engineering company based in Dungannon, is recruiting for a skilled professional to join their Production Department.

This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where you'll take pride in producing high-quality work, contributing to an efficient and collaborative team environment.



About the Role

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating mild steel components to exacting standards, ensuring products meet customer and company quality requirements. You'll play a key role in maintaining production targets and supporting continuous improvement across the workshop.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to a high standard.
  • Fabricate, fit, and form raw materials according to technical drawings.
  • Inspect and ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, communicating clearly with supervisors and colleagues.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong MIG welding skills (mild steel essential).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Basic understanding of machinery maintenance.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work.
