Water Hygiene Engineer
Are you looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer role? Interested in working for a large Environmental Services company?

VANRATH are recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer to assist in the running of environmental and building legislative compliance contracts. This is a field based role requiring daily travel to required site(s).

Remuneration:
c£21,000 to £27,000 + package

Client:
Our client is a well respected provider of compliance services that assist Building and Facilities Managers in providing a safe and healthy built environment. They specialise in Legionella Risk Assessments, Water hygiene monitoring, sampling and flushing programmes, Water treatment services, Remote Temperature Monitoring technologies, Water system clean and disinfections, Remedial works and more.

They operate across multiple sectors including Education, Social Housing, Councils, Healthcare, Hospitality, Financial Institutions, Government Agencies and they support many major Property and Facilities Management companies.

The Role:

  • Water temperature monitoring
  • Water sampling
  • Disinfection of showers
  • Disinfection of domestic water services
  • Clean & Disinfection of Cold Water Storage Tanks
  • Hygiene monitoring of water systems
  • TMV servicing
  • Inspection of Calorifiers
  • Undertaking of remedial actions to water systems
  • Carry out allocated service work within agreed time schedules, adhering to the company's health and safety policy and quality policy, and to the relevant industry guidelines and customer specifications
  • Complete reports and paperwork as instructed by your team leader
  • Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration
  • Quality - Ensure compliance with QMS, documentation to be correct and current
  • Remedial works
  • Any other associated duties which may be requested from time to time



The Ideal Person:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience in TMV servicing
  • Up to date Legionella awareness training
  • Have at least 2 years' previous experience of Legionella monitoring and sampling
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Able to deal directly with customers in a profession manner and represent the company
  • Completion and interpretation of chemical service reports (Desirable)
  • Experience of Legionella Risk Assessments (Desirable)
