Job description

VANRATH have partnered with one of the worlds largest vehicle manufacturers and dealers. The client is seeking to hire a Trucks Sales Executive for the expanding business and amazing new showroom. This would suit a salesperson with a B2B sales background or those that have sold Commercial Vehicles.

Location:

Mallusk

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30, with Saturday cover on a 1 in 6 rotational basis.

Salary:

£50,000 - £70,000 OTE and an industry-leading benefits and commission structure. There is also a higher basic salary than similar SE roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the full sales journey, from first engagement to vehicle handover.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities, introducing prospects to our premium truck range.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with key business customers.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events to raise brand awareness and grow the truck customer market in Northern Ireland.
  • Showcase the key technical and commercial benefits of our truck range.
  • Manage CRM records efficiently to maximise customer interactions and follow-ups.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales process, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in vehicle sales, capital equipment, or B2B sales.
  • Proven ability to target and secure new business opportunities.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-focused.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach.
  • Competent with IT systems and quick to learn dealer management platforms.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Prior dealership or commercial vehicle sales experience.
  • Recognised sales accreditation (e.g., third-party certification).
  • Experience using CRM packages such as Dealerweb or Kerridge.
  • HGV licence or willingness to train for truck driving.
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
