Vanrath are currently working with a market-leading leisure vehicle retailer with a strong presence across the island of Ireland. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking to appoint an ambitious Vehicle Sales Consultant to join their growing showroom team.

Salary

£25,000 basic salary
Realistic on-target earnings between £50,000 - £70,000 (uncapped commission structure)


The Role

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the full purchase journey, from initial enquiry through to handover. The role requires a consultative sales approach, strong product knowledge, and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed sales targets across new and pre-owned leisure vehicles

  • Provide detailed product information and advise customers on current offers and finance options

  • Proactively follow up enquiries and build a strong pipeline of prospective buyers

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within internal systems

  • Conduct thorough and accurate vehicle appraisals for part-exchange opportunities

  • Participate in brand and product training to remain up to date with industry developments

  • Deliver a professional handover experience to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business


About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales-focused role (automotive experience advantageous)

  • Background within a franchised dealership or specialist vehicle environment desirable

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

  • Self-driven, target-oriented and commercially aware

  • Confident using IT systems and CRM platforms

  • Full UK driving licence
