Vehicle Mechanic / Technician (15-19 an hour)

Job Description

VANRATH have partnered with a family-run vehicle repair shop that is seeking to hire HGV mechanics due to recent growth. (No HGV experience necessary)

Due to continued growth and expansion we have exciting opportunities within our service department we are seeking driven and hard working individuals from all backgrounds.

No previous experience of HGV is required as full training will be given, although coming from a production, manufacturing or engineering background would be advantageous.

Salary:

£15-19 per hour

You deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Have a full valid driving licence
  • An NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent is ideal
  • Have previous Mobile Automotive Technician experience.
  • Able to complete tasks within given timeframes
  • Must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
  • Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks
  • Able to work as part of a team and individually
  • Able to adapt to the company's needs in the way we deliver our service
  • Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work
  • Clean driving license
