Valeter - Magheralin

VANRATH have partnered with Ireland's largest motorhome dealers. The client is seeking to hire a Valeter for the expanding business.

Due to continued growth and expansion we have exciting opportunities within our aftersales department we are seeking driven and hard working individuals from all backgrounds.

No previous experience of Motorhomes or Caravans is required as full training will be given, although coming from a production, manufacturing or engineering background would be advantageous.

In this role, you will report to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidates will be key members of the team and will focus on providing a high-quality preparation of our motorhomes and campervans.

Salary:

£14 an hour moving to £16.10 an hour after probation + bonuses

About The Role

• Ensure vehicles are washed as per the Cleaning rota in preparation for the next day
• Ensure vehicles are washed perfectly to customer satisfaction using the correct materials provided
• Assist with the efficient flow of vehicles around the site, for collection and delivery
• Maintenance of cleaning equipment and other materials
• Maintain work areas in a clean and tidy condition
• Complete vehicle forecourt checks to ensure all stock is cleaned to required standards
• Assist with site maintenance duties as required
• Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Note any accidents or damage on vehicles and to bring to the attention of the relevant manager

The Ideal Candidate:

• Have previous valeting / detailing experience.
• Methodical and process driven
• Able to complete tasks within given timeframes
• Experience in applying interior and exterior protection products
• Experience in paint polishing and buff and restoration
• Able to routinely follow established procedures
• Must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
• Clean driving license
