UX/Product Designer - Contract Role
FinTech Trading | Belfast | Hybrid (weekly on-site)
Excellent Daily Rate | Inside IR35
Contract -Jan 27 (extension Likely)
A leading fintech trading organisation in Belfast is seeking an experienced UX/Product Designer to drive the evolution of a high‑performance digital trading platform. This is a contract role suited to a product-focused designer who excels in fast‑paced, highly regulated environments.
The Opportunity
- Lead end‑to‑end digital design across web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and refined high‑fidelity designs
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
- Shape and continuously develop the design system for consistency and scale
- Champion usability, accessibility, and exceptional user experience standards
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in UX / Product / Experience Design
- A strong portfolio showcasing complex digital platforms
- Experience designing dashboards or data‑rich interfaces (Figma advantage)
- Comfortable working within Agile delivery teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Background in financial services, fintech, or trading is beneficial but not essential
