About the candidate
Ideal applicants will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience designing digital user experiences
- Background in Graphic Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or related disciplines
- Strong skills in conducting and synthesising user research
- Experience across the product development lifecycle, from concept to optimisation
- Expertise in Figma and contributing to design systems
- Understanding of information architecture, systems design, and user behaviour analytics
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing engaging, straightforward, and high-performance experiences for consumers on the insurance marketplace
- Leading user research initiatives to inform and validate design decisions
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and high-fidelity UI designs
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams throughout product development
- Supporting and evolving the design system to ensure consistency and scalability
- Actively participating in design community initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement
