VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the Recruitment of an Experienced Transport Specialist to join an experienced and dynamic team based in Banbridge.

Salary - £39,600

Hours - Mon-Fri- 09:00-17:00

Overview - As a Transport Planner you will be required to organise and plan the collections of our the fleet. Read the Transport system and and deliver all relevant info to the drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a daily working schedule whilst organising routes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor vehicles throughout the day and adjust plan to accommodate certain situations.
• Ensure Operations are carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
• Work with fleet maintenance to ensure vehicles are maintained.

Requirements:

• Previous Transport Knowledge is essential!
• Excellent Communication - Written, English and Verbal.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft for Data Analysis and reporting purpose is essential.
• Good knowledge o of IT Systems relevant to planning.
• Ability to engage a team and drive initiatives.
• Problem solving capabilities.
• Able to work under pressure.
