Transport Planner (4 on 4 off)

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Transport Planner for a major company that specialises in Logistics.

This is a Full-time position. 4 on 4 off Night Shift role.

Permanent position - Position of work is Dungannon

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth Opportunities

Duties include:

· Planning and coordinating transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods

· Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time deliveries

· Collaborating with drivers, programmers and customers, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

· Maximise asset utilisation whilst adhering to appropriate legal/regulatory requirements

· Resolving any transportation issues or delays that may arise

· Maintaining accurate records of transportation activities

Skills:

· Strong organisational and time management skills

· Excellent problem-solving abilities

· Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools

· Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years Transport Planning Experience

· Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook

· Good written and oral communication skills
