Job Description:

As a Training Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs for our clients, focusing on both practical and theoretical aspects of Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) and BE license requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring our trainees gain the necessary skills and knowledge to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up equipment for training
  • Developing and updating training materials and manuals.
  • Assessing trainees' driving skills and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintaining training vehicles and equipment in excellent condition.
  • Providing support and guidance to trainees throughout their training journey.
  • Collaborating with other trainers and staff to continuously improve training programs.

Requirements:

  • Valid LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) License.
  • Valid BE License (category B + E, allowing for towing).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to suit various learning styles.
  • High level of patience and the ability to motivate others.
  • A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Desirable Criteria:

  • NVQ Lvl 2 .
  • Valid forklift license, or be willing to undertake training
  • Accredited water treatment certificate, or be willing to undertake this qualification
  • Additional certifications in training or education.
  • Familiarity with modern training technologies and methods.
