Role: Trainer - Permanent - Monaghan

Job Overview
VANRATH is pleased to support a client in Monaghan in recruiting a Site Trainer. This role is a hands-on, operational training position with a strong focus on supporting employees working on the production floor. The Trainer acts as the main link between the HR function and shop floor teams, ensuring all staff are properly trained, competent, and compliant with both internal and external standards.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and update the company's training systems and records.
• Facilitate induction and mandatory training, including health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver in-house training programmes for standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create instructional materials, including visuals and documentation.
• Identify training needs, monitor progress, and report on outcomes to highlight any performance gaps.
• Coordinate external training, certifications, and refresher courses, ensuring timely renewals.
• Plan and schedule training sessions to minimise disruption to production while maintaining accurate records.
• Support audits and represent the company at careers events and external training activities.

What you'll need:

• Background in training or L&D within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience delivering induction and compliance training.
• Good understanding of health & safety, food safety, and site compliance.
• Familiar with training matrices, record systems, and audit preparation.
• Experience working with production teams to identify and meet training needs.
• Knowledge of SOP and work instruction development.
• Coordination of external training and certification renewals.
• Experience with BRC standards and training management systems (advantageous).
