They are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Accountant to join the team.


Role Overview: As a Trainee Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an accountancy degree who is keen to learn and develop within a supportive and dynamic team. You will be client-facing, providing essential support and building strong relationships with clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounts Preparation:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients.
  • Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.


Audit Support:

  • Participate in audit engagements, assisting with planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Conduct audit testing and document audit findings.


Tax Compliance and Advisory:

  • Support the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist in providing tax planning advice to clients.


Corporate Finance:

  • Contribute to financial analyses and reports for corporate finance projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of business valuations and financial models.


Client Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and providing timely updates.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive communication.


Learning and Development:

  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Work closely with senior team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the practice's operations.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accountancy degree or equivalent qualification (essential).
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
