VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a growing business in the Ballymena area, who are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to become part of their team.
The company will provide a study support package.
What you'll do:
Reconcile and process purchase invoices using bespoke accounting software.
Approve and release sales orders in line with company procedures.
Carry out credit control duties, including contacting customers to request payments and resolving queries.
Perform monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card statements.
Assist with VAT and Intrastat submissions, and support the processing of weekly and monthly payroll.
About you
1-2 years' experience working in a finance or accounting function (e.g. Accounts Payable, Receivable, or Payroll).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting and payroll software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a small, collaborative finance team.
