About you

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • Demonstrable experience in recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities
  • Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem solver with a focus on delivering a positive candidate and new hire experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in HR systems and data reporting
  • Committed to confidentiality and high standards of professionalism

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a best-in-class experience for candidates and managers
  • Coordinate interviews, pre-employment checks, and new starter documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all onboarding activities support smooth integration and engagement of new employees
  • Handle employee relations issues with discretion, including disciplinary matters and grievances
  • Assist in designing and delivering onboarding programmes and training initiatives
  • Support the maintenance of HR systems to track recruitment and onboarding progress
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies to enhance candidate and employee experience
  • Generate reports on recruitment metrics and help benchmark salaries to remain competitive
  • Support wider HR activities to promote staff engagement, motivation, and retention
