About you
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
- Demonstrable experience in recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities
- Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solver with a focus on delivering a positive candidate and new hire experience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficient in HR systems and data reporting
- Committed to confidentiality and high standards of professionalism
What you'll do
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a best-in-class experience for candidates and managers
- Coordinate interviews, pre-employment checks, and new starter documentation accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all onboarding activities support smooth integration and engagement of new employees
- Handle employee relations issues with discretion, including disciplinary matters and grievances
- Assist in designing and delivering onboarding programmes and training initiatives
- Support the maintenance of HR systems to track recruitment and onboarding progress
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies to enhance candidate and employee experience
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics and help benchmark salaries to remain competitive
- Support wider HR activities to promote staff engagement, motivation, and retention
