In order to attract the very best talent on the market a generous remuneration package is on offer of £35,000-44,000 depending on experience plus a range of fantastic benefits.

VANRATH are pleased to be working with an industry leading professional services firm who are recruiting for a high calibre candidate to fill the position of Technology Audit Manager.

The Ideal Person

  • Individuals to take a leading role in supporting the development of our Technology Audit Managed Services business, including designing and implementing governance frameworks, building, growing and supporting the team. Leveraging the best use of our technology, people and innovation capabilities to develop and implement maturity into our service offering.
  • Individuals who will take responsibility for quality, productivity and governance across our programmes and seek ways to continually improve processes, driving efficiencies and automation through the use of technology where possible.
  • Individuals who will maintain an understanding of technology environments, and how these support business processes and the regulatory landscape.
  • Individuals who will support Senior Management with delivering valuable services, and solutions to clients. Support with the delivery of quality metrics, budgets and team performance reporting to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Individuals with a passion for maintaining strong professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Individuals who strive for operational excellence, who focus on developing people and who take an innovative approach to problem solving.

The Role

  • Demonstrable experience in a management role; leading a range of medium to large technology audit programs in either compliance, risk & controls or external or internal audit functions.
  • Demonstrable success as a leader, and of building, managing and developing high performing teams responsible for delivering large and complex programs.
  • An understanding of Investment and Retail banking processes, terminology and the ongoing regulatory challenges related to these institutions.
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to understand technical details and articulate them back in a simple and clear manner - both verbally and written.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions.
  • Desirable skills and experience;
  • A good level of skill within software packages such as Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Powerpoint) or Google Applications (including Sheets, Docs and Slides).
  • Experience leading remote teams distributed across multiple locations.
  • A relevant Audit or Risk related qualification.
