Our client is seeking a proficient Technical Writer to develop high-quality product documentation. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about technology and excel at conveying information clearly and simply. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone with 1+ years' experience to continue their journey within technical writing within a global software organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment where peer reviews are a key part of every project.
  • Continuously strive to improve both individual and team practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to write and publish technical documentation using tools.
  • Apply best practices in technical writing throughout their Lean Technical Documentation Lifecycle, including adherence to internal style guides, plain English principles, and participation in document review cycles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts.
  • Manage small to medium documentation projects with multiple sources of information and deliverables.
  • Continuously develop and maintain skills and knowledge in technical writing practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (English Literature, Technical Communication, Journalism, Computer Science) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Understanding of technical writing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional writing, reviewing, and editing skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to think creatively to enhance the efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.
  • Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Structured approach to managing writing projects.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with various writing tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML software.
