Job Description

Vanrath has partnered with a leading supplier of high-quality of equipment for environmental research, this company also install, rent and repair the equipment.

The successful candidate will work in the Bangor office with some field based travel.

There will be hybrid working being offered, but for the first 3 months would be fully in office due to training.


Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm (Flexibility offered)

£30,000 - £45,000 + Use of company van for visits + expenses

The Role:

The company is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our existing sales team. As Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for bolstering existing sales performance and the development of new sales opportunities. Sales development is intrinsic to the role hence we are seeking an individual with previous sales experience and the ability to generate sales through marketing campaigns, customer relations development, exploration of new markets and innovations to our product and service offering.


  • Receiving incoming customer enquiries
  • Generation of quotations for sales and services
  • Customer relations management (CRM)
  • Sales campaign development and management
  • Customer visits (site/office) to develop understanding of project demands and solutions
  • Manage marketing activities, create graphics

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in environmental monitoring
  • Strong sales & marketing background
  • Technical sales experience
  • Social media marketing experience
  • Abode suite experience
  • CRM experience
  • CSR or CSCS card
