Are you a Product Manager with 5+ years' demonstrable experience in an IT related field, managing, roadmapping and delivering technical product lifecycles from initiation to execution?

Our client is in immediate need of a Product Manager to take full ownership of ongoing and future projects and become part of their constantly evolving team, reporting directly to the CTO. This is an extremely rare opportunity to work locally on projects involving a wide range of technology, as this company continues to prosper as the countries only specialist in designing and implementing the use of drone technology through key firmware engineering, embedded systems, software and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the entire product development lifecycle from inception to launch, integrating new functionalities and improving existing features as needed.
  • Develop, execute, and communicate a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, business development, and other key stakeholders to grasp client and market requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering and Technical teams to transform client and market needs into detailed product specifications, assessing feasibility and addressing any unique technical intricacies.
  • Integrate well-defined requirements into the product roadmap and delivery plan.
  • Assist the engineering team in successfully implementing product features and functionalities outlined in the product roadmap.
  • Conduct extensive market research, leveraging data and insights to formulate compelling value propositions.
  • Collaborate with commercial, business, and marketing teams to create pricing models, forecasts, and positioning, conducting ongoing analyses.
  • Deliver presentations on products, tailoring them to different audiences and use cases.
  • Support the marketing team in various activities by contributing insights on product research, planning, and implementation.
  • Contribute to release notes, product guides, descriptions, and other marketing materials for each product release.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical product management setting.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant technical field (e.g., Cyber Security, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science), with additional product management qualifications being advantageous.
  • Understanding of or experience in a relevant industry such as Cyber Security, Smart Mobility, Smart Cities, or similar.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end product development, demonstrating proficiency in navigating every stage of the product lifecycle, including development, positioning, and pricing, while aligning with client and business requirements.
  • Experience in conducting market analysis, encompassing desktop research and structured client interviews, with the ability to distill findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of engaging with external and internal stakeholders and fostering a robust partnership with the Engineering team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics clearly and succinctly.
  • Proficiency in product management methodologies, tools, and systems (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence).
  • Leadership skills, enabling autonomous work while still functioning effectively within a team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Robust commercial acumen, organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
