Salary

£63,000 - £75,000 (Negotiable) + Additional Fantastic Benefits and Perks & Progression Opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Retailer and BRCGS Audit Management
• Food Specific Legal compliance.
• Compliance to customer requirements and standards.
• Service Supplier Management
• Keeping up to date and Horizon scaning for food safety and legality concerns.
• Facilitate the day to day Technical Management of ingredient approval, food production and distribution.
• Lead / Support the HACCP Team.
• Management of a large multidiciplinary team within the Technical Department.
• Lead the Technical Function to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work.
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement in all areas of the Technical Department and site.
• Lead and manage the Quality, Hygiene, Training functions on site as appropriate.
• Manage the resolution and close out of issues / incidents which have been escalated.
• Identify and implement Best Practice within the Technical function to help facilitate business improvements
• Accountable for ensuring that new products and processes are introduced to site that are safe, legal and compliant with customer requirements and on time.
• Develop and maintain a positive proactive relationship with key retail and export customers.
• Chair technical meetings
• Set and report on relevant KPI's and objectives.

The Ideal Person:

• Experience in similar role
• Experience in Food industry is essential
• Quality management experience at a factory leadership team level
• Experience with major multiple retailers
