Job Description

Our multiple award winning client is seeking a Technical Consultant with experience in Sage 200 to join their growing consultancy team across the UK and Ireland. This role offers the flexibility to work from home or any of the company's offices in the region, along with a variety of employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will report to the Project Lead and Professional Services Director. Their main responsibility will be to provide implementation services to Sage 200 customers across various industries, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Planning: Understanding project deliverables, participating in project kickoff meetings, considering customer constraints, commercial risks, and potential challenges.

Consulting: Scheduling and planning tasks, initial company setup, configuring financial and operational processes, and providing a clear gap analysis along with commercial options.

Configuration: Collaborating with the Project Lead to fully configure financial and operational modules, including security, data mapping, design elements, and integrations if needed.

Training and Testing: Conducting standard and custom training sessions, assisting with test plan creation, and managing exceptions from customer testing.

Go-Live and Post Go-Live: Managing live conversions, providing go-live support, handling non-critical issues, and ensuring a smooth transition.

Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with changes to Sage 200 software and ISV products to offer accurate information to customers.

Customer Service: Striving to provide exceptional customer service, going the extra mile to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Person

Candidates should ideally possess several years of IT Consultancy experience with the Sage 200 product. Experience in the complete implementation life cycle is essential, covering pre-sales demos, piloting, configuration, client training, go-live, and post-sales support.

  • 3+ years of consultancy experience within IT
  • Solid experience with the Sage 200 product
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivation, drive, and the capacity to execute tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with Sage ISVs like Draycir and Sicon would be beneficial.
