VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and long-established accountancy practice based in South East Belfast to recruit a Tax Advisor. The Role
This is a key hire within a growing tax team, suited to a qualified or part-qualified professional who wants to deepen their expertise in a specialist advisory-led environment. You will work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to a high-quality client base while playing an active role in both compliance and advisory work.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and review personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns across a varied client portfolio
  • Support on a range of tax planning and advisory assignments, particularly within the medical sector
  • Ensure full compliance with current tax legislation and statutory deadlines
  • Act as a key point of contact for client queries, delivering clear and practical tax advice
  • Collaborate closely with Managers and Partners on complex cases and client strategies
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a high-performing team environment

Requirements

  • ATT / CTA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a practice environment with a strong grounding in tax compliance
  • Solid knowledge of personal and corporate tax
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software (Xero advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective client relationships
  • Organised, detail-focused, and keen to develop within a specialist tax environment
