VANRATH are pleased to be working in partnership with a highly regarded accountancy and advisory firm to appoint a CTA-qualified tax professional to their Coleraine office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Assistant Manager or Manager to step into a progressive, advisory-focused environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of clients while developing their technical and commercial skillset within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Role
This role offers a blend of advisory and complex compliance, with a clear trajectory into more advanced project-based work. You will work closely with senior leadership on a variety of assignments, supporting both local and international clients.
It's particularly well suited to someone looking to accelerate their career in tax advisory while still consolidating strong technical foundations.

What You Will Do
- Assist in delivering a wide range of tax advisory projects
- Support on restructuring, succession planning and business advisory work
- Work on corporate and personal tax planning assignments
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and mentorship
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development activity
- Collaborate with wider teams across audit and accounts on integrated client work
Requirements
- CTA qualified or working towards CTA (essential)
- ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Experience within a practice environment in corporate and/or personal tax
- Exposure to advisory work or a strong desire to move into this area
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, ambitious and keen to develop within a growing firm
